Common Accidents in Finish Rolling

1. No. 8 looper pile steel:

①The rolling line is not correct and the looper is not in place, which is caused by the collision head (the treatment measure is to adjust the rolling line).

②Loopers start too early, are delayed, or are unable to start the loop (the treatment measures are to check whether there is no water mist before the heat detection signal, whether it is blocked or the electrical fault signal is flickering).

③The looper is stuck but not set up (handle the card set caused by machinery).

④The 3# scissors have serious wear and tear, and the elbow is cut (the treatment measure is to replace the scissors in time or in advance).

⑤The cutting head is too short, and it gets stuck in the guide groove after being brought in (extend the length of the cutting head).

 

2. 3# shear pile steel:

①The cutting head (tail) is too long and stuck in the guide groove.

②Scissors, turning and withdrawing are worn and deformed.

③ The wear position of the transfer and withdrawal is incorrect. ④The rolled piece begins.

 

3. Finishing mill intermediate pile steel:

① The shape and size of the material are not suitable.

②Import guides are damaged (steel sticking, bearing failure, iron sheet scraping).

③ The import and export guides are loose.

④The rolled piece begins.

⑤ Inverted steel caused by the large opening of the guide.

 

4. Scrap Bin Heap Steel:

①Pile up steel before spinning (due to poor installation of pinch rollers, incorrect roll gap, incorrect installation of import and export guides, etc.)

②Pile up steel for several rounds of silk spinning (due to the mismatch between the speed of the finishing mill and the pinch roll, the 28# entrance guide is not installed correctly, the water in the water cooling section is opened too early, the water cooling section is not assembled properly, the pressure of the pinch roll is not suitable, Caused by severe wear of the guide taper sleeve at the entrance of the laying machine)

Measure:

① Carefully install the pinch rollers and import and export guides; adjust the roll gap of the pinch rollers.

② Seriously install and check the 28# inlet guide, water cooling section guide groove, wire laying machine inlet guide taper sleeve; set the matching speed of the finishing mill and the pinch roll; the clamping force of the pinch roll; adjust the threading The head length of the cooling water in the water cooling section.

 

5. Roll Ring Burst:

① Poor pressurization causes roll shifting.

②The cooling water pipe is blocked.

③The stacked steel is not processed in time, and the water is boiled after the roller ring is burnt out.

④The heating of the lubrication system is not good, and the temperature of the roller shaft is not enough. Install a cold roller ring.

⑤ low temperature steel.

⑥ The material of the roller ring is not good or has flaws.

 

Measure:

① Pressurize and observe the pressure of the hydraulic trolley, and keep it for 10 seconds after reaching the standard pressure.

② Check the cooling water pipe frequently.

③Promptly dispose of piled steel.

④The roller ring can only be installed when the temperature of the roller shaft is close to about 35°C.

⑤ Carefully check the quality of the roller ring.

⑥ It is strictly forbidden to roll low-temperature steel.
